I did the Alien painting about 6 years ago and the Glyptodon last year.

Time Travel

Here is actually the first full color painting I did totally in Painter. I used strong photo reference and the images color palette to accurately render the depth and atmosphere of a mountain setting.

Here is a piece I did for a client illustrating his relatives in a Romance Novel kind of way. It shows the progression of my thought processes.

Creepy Tree

This is a sketch done in Painter and Photoshop. I sketched the line art in Painter and then added value with the airbrush tool in Photoshop. I play with the opacity and transparency settings to get the look I want. I also build up back-ground middle-ground and fore-ground using different layers.

Warrior. Sketch and Final

This is the first fantasy painting I did with the wacom tablet using Painter and Photoshop.
